False Teachers love to claim the
healings of non visible maladies which are not immediately verifiable
—like the “healings” of cancer, stomach ulcer, shrinking of tumor, head ache, lengthening of legs or
arms, slight improvement of vision or hearing, etc.
But what about those who are visibly lame or handicapped, blind, etc. .. What
happened to healing miracles like in the book of Acts? The Blind SEE—The Deaf HEAR—The Lame WALK—The
dead RAISED! INSTANTANEOUS! COMPLETE! Is this not the same HOLY SPIRIT? In fact, as far as we know, we have never met
anyone testifying seeing astounding miracles personally through healing meetings of these false teachers. They only heard such miracles through
magazines, tapes, through a friend’s friend, testimonies, etc!. ..Just hearsay! Our
Hindu, Taoist, Catholic friends have similar testimonies too. So what is the difference? Please do not get us wrong, JESUS STILL HEALS! (Heb 13:8) He uses various ways to heal us. It can be
through modern medicine gradually or even through miracles like in
the book of Acts. But it is not
happening today through these false teachers because the Holy Spirit is NOT in them.
